A major highlight of the tour is a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar where we may see the early evening Granth Sahib ceremony. There is time to explore the hill stations of both Dharamshala, homes to the exiled Dalai Lama and Manali, famous for its ancient wooden temples. Manali to Leh highway across the Great Himalayan Range, the world's second highest road is rugged and only tackled by adventurous travelers.
