Introduction

Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak.

Day 1

Cochin to Munnar

Welcome to Gods own country! On arrival at Cochin Airport you will be met by our executive and transferred to Munnar (150 kms / 4 hrs) enjoying the panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations en-route. On arrival, check in at Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure trekking around the estate. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 2

Munnar

Morning sightseeing trip of Munnar including the Eravikulam National Park, the Mattupetty Dam and also walk through the Old Munnar Town. Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another overnight stay at your Hotel.

Day 3

Munnar to Thekkady

Morning after breakfast check out from your Resort and proceed to Periyar /Thekkady(120 Kms / 3.5 Hrs) and check in at the Hotel. After brief leisure go on a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake, located in middle of the wildlife sanctuary. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which includes wild Elephants, Monkeys, Deer, Wild Boar and different species of birds, can also be spotted.Rest of the time for visiting Spice Market and such as.After Dinner overnight at hotel.

Day 4

Thekkady to Alleppey/Kumarakom

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey/Kumarakom (the backwaters) (150 KMS) and check in to your Resort. Rest of the time for sightseeing like Kumarakom Bird sanctuary, local village life of Allepey / Kumarakom.After Dinner Overnight stay in Resort.

Day 5

Alleppey/Kumarakom to Cochin

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed for Cochin which is 100kms (2hrs) drive from Kumarakom for your flight or train for your home with lots of beautiful memories of tours.
